Beneath The Willow

In gentle curves of emerald lace,
The willow’s arms descend with grace,
          Creating curtains, soft and free,
A veil between the world and me.

Here, where shadows dance and sway,
Time seems to softly drift away,
          While branches whisper lullabies,
               Beneath the peaceful summer skies.

My weary heart finds sweet release,
As nature grants a moment’s peace,
          Within this green cathedral’s dome,
I’ve found my soul’s eternal home.

Each leaf that trembles in the breeze,
     Bears witness to life’s mysteries,
In this sanctuary pure and true,
               My spirit finds itself anew.
